Propolis Theatre Company have crafted a piece of verbatim theatre (taken from testimonies) as part of the curiosity festival that openly talks about sex. A revolt against the notion instilled from us as children that it should not be taught about. And some would argue that given the increased availabilty and access to sexual material through the internet and our exposure to sexual imagery that pervades our consumer culture to date. This honest look at what sex really is, is quite rightly justifed and needed. Spill discusses not simply the clean, quiet, careful, hairless, monogamous, young, skinny, hetrosexual sex but sex in all its forms, from the experiences of a variety of people with different backgrounds, sexualitites ages and experience.

Spill also uses live music, puppetry and movement, to explore this age-old topic with playful openness and unflinching sensitivity. Propolis theatre state they want to give you the chance to be voyeurs without feeling guilty about it.
