It is your last chance to catch Angie Belchers, 1hr show "Settle Down" in Bristol which has been part of PBH's free Fringe Edingborough Festival 2013 and 2014, before the new show going out this year.
For 10 years Angie played hard, had fun and jumped from relationship to relationship, till at the age of 37 she found herself with a broken back and no significant other to pass the tissues. Determined to find true love they never ask you how you’ve educated and enlightened yourself to better understand the human condition, but whether you’ve Settled Down yet” What does Settling down mean? Can you have the thunderbolt moment without being drowned by the rain while putting out the recycling?
Angie presents dirty stanzas and awkward observations about approaching 40 via Agnosticism, angry computers and puppies. ‘Settle Down!’ covers the joy of being flashed at as a teenager, class ironies and how to orgasm as an agnostic. Includes new poems such as “A weekend with my mom”, “What kind of Music is that” as well as the crowd pleasing “I hate Dave”.
Her live work is fruity and not for the faint hearted. An accomplished comedy actor and writer, Angie has performed and written for screen and radio.
5 star review Leicester Comedy Festival
“Funny, crude and incredibly charming” Word of Mouth.
“Her work is well written, slick and funny” Kidderminster Creatives.
